The Denver Nuggets have taken a commanding 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers after a hard-fought 112-105 victory in Game 2 on Saturday night.
Nuggets Dominate Lakers in Game 2
The Nuggets were in control for much of the game, leading by as many as 20 points in the second half. Jamal Murray led the way for Denver with 28 points, while Nikola Jokic added 26 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lakers were led by LeBron James, who scored 26 points. However, James struggled with his shot, finishing just 9-of-24 from the field.
Series Shifts to Los Angeles
The series now shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4. The Lakers will need to find a way to win at least one game at home in order to stay alive in the series.
The Nuggets, meanwhile, will be looking to close out the series in four games. They will have a chance to do so when they host the Lakers in Game 5 on Tuesday night.
